Carry Case
The carry case supplied with my Coolpix 900 was lacking in the
following  departments:
- too small for anything but the camera;
- no strap (you have to use the wrist strap attached to the camera);
- flimsy construction doesnīt give the camera much protection.
So what I found for a mere 10 UK pounds sterling (or so) was this carry case which solves all of the above problems. In fact, the main compartment is big enough for the camera and my mobile phone, and the
front, zipped pocket holds the spare set of batteries, a small notepad and pen, a spare lens filter, a lens cleaner and 2 spare CompactFlash cards. Itīs made from canvas and is padded throughout and lined with some kind
of waterproof material. All I know about it is that itīs got "OPTEX" embroidered in green on the lid, although I have seen it branded differently. |
