To see the metadata you have just added to your catalog/gallery, you need to customize the view in Portfolio™.
In record view, for example, click the Customize View button. In the resulting dialog you need to enable all of the metadata fields and rearrange them into the order that you want. The resulting dialog might look like this:
The Record View itself would then look like this:
For you this is just the start: there are many different and creative ways you can use this information that is "hidden" in your image files.
