Limitations

FilFolio™ is available only for users of the Windows version of Extensis Portfolio™ version 5 and later. (It should work with version 4, but this has not been tested.) FilFolio™ cannot be used with Portfolio™ v5 Desktop edition as it does not support scripts.

FilFolio™ has only been tested with image files that are JPEGs or TIFFs - it ignores all files of other types so it is safe to use on catalogs/galleries containing mixed file types (even non-image files like .txt, .avi, etc.)

FilFolio™ has been tested and works with images from the following digicams:

	·	Canon - Digital IXUS, EOS-D30, G1, Pro 70, Pro 90 IS, S10, S20, S300
	·	Casio - QV-3000EX
	·	Epson - PhotoPC 3000Z
	·	Fuji - FinePix 40i, FinePix 4700z, FinePix 4900z, FinePix S1 Pro, MX-2700, MX-2900
	·	HP - PhotoSmart 912
	·	Kodak - DC265, DC280, DC290, DC4800
	·	Minolta - Dimage 2330, Dimage EX 1500
	·	Nikon - Coolpix 700, Coolpix 800, Coolpix 880, Coolpix 900, Coolpix 900s, Coolpix 950, Coolpix 990, D1
	·	Olympus - C-2000Z, C-2100UZ, C-2500L, C-3030Z, E-10
	·	Panasonic - PV-SD5000
	·	Sony - DSC-D700, DSC-F505, DSC-F505V, DSC-P1, DSC-S70, MVC-CD1000
	·	Toshiba - PDR-M70

FilFolio™ should work most modern (3 years old and newer) digicams but it is known not to work at present with images from the following as they do not seem to contain metadata:

	·	Kodak - DCS 520, DCS 620, Pro DCS 620x
	·	Sony - Mavica FD-91

	It's not sure whether the test images used for these came directly from the digicam or if they had been preprocessed first, thereby removing the metadata. If you can definitively confirm whether FilFolio™ works or not with these digicams then please email FilFolio@letocha.com .

FilFolio™ supports Makernote metadata for the following manufacturers:

	·	Canon
	·	Casio
	·	Fuji
	·	Nikon
	·	Olympus

Makernote support will be enhanced as the relevant information becomes available.

For the metadata, the following limitations apply:

	·	Global positioning system (GPS) metadata is extracted but has not been tested.
