The Information Pane gathers the current state of Portfolio™ running on your PC and displays it to you. It could look something like this:
As you can see, there are quite a few galleries open belonging to a number of different catalogs. The currently-active gallery is the Nikon gallery from the catalog called FilFolio Test Catalog.
To change the currently-active gallery, just click on the one you want and it will happen. Like this:
Clicking here on the Default gallery causes FilFolio™ to refresh the display as shown below:
If we want to extract the metadata from more than just the single selected image (in this case) in the gallery, we need to tell FilFolio™ about it. Just click on the All items radio button as shown in the following screenshot. Notice how the status line now shows the updated number of images that will be processed.
